NC Connected Programs

NC Connected, Inc. offers a variety of in-school, after-school, summer and weekend programs designed to encourage girls to pursue careers in technology, to provide useful life skills, and to link girls to female mentors and expose them to many different career options.

Girls Connected Tech Camp

The Girls Connected Tech Camp program is a series of classes that teach the fundamentals of web design and development to girls ages 10 to 17.

Boondocks Media School is an outreach program of NC Connected, Inc. designed to bring technical training opportunities to children in the rural and at-risk areas of North Carolina.

NCC Media Productions

NCC Media Productions is a technology training and entrepreneurial development program for girls who are currently enrolled in or have completed the Girls Connected program.

The NCC Mentors program is designed to cultivate new leaders, to share learning experiences across generations, and to engage girls in career exploration and planning. In the NCC Mentors Program, the NC Connected program participants are introduced to female mentors in a variety of careers.

NCC Service

A substantial portion of the students' work is with community members and organizations that have limited resources to get on the Internet. As a result, the girls frequently act as teachers and technology evangelists for other community members.
