NC Connected, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to empower girls to excel and to encourage them to participate in technology-related careers by providing training in internet technologies, exposure to role models, and life skills applications.

Founded in 2003 in Raleigh, North Carolina, NC Connected, Inc. engages, educates, and motivates girls to achieve the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to participate in advanced technology classes and in future technology careers.

NC Connected, Inc. offers a variety of educational options designed for girls ages 10 through 17. After-school programs, summer camps, and weekend workshops are all available.

The common theme to all NC Connected, Inc. programs is the exploration of internet technologies and multimedia applications in a hands-on, supportive, and girl-friendly environment.

The emphasis of all NC Connected progams is on providing real-world experience in completing multi-media projects, interacting with clients, and sharing training learned with future program participants.
